Charleston Mortgage Brokerage Promotes Leni Salvadico to Senior Processor

In her role she organizes documents, verifications and timelines so each file moves smoothly toward closing.

Loan processing is the stretch of a mortgage that sits between a borrower’s approval and the closing table, and it is where most of the work happens. A processor collects income and asset documentation, orders third-party verifications, tracks the conditions an underwriter attaches to an approval, and keeps the file moving against a contract date that does not move. When a closing slips, the cause is usually a condition that sat unanswered, which is why brokerages that close on time tend to be the ones that invest in processing.
