Greenville New Bern Washington, NC, November 6, 2026 — In Greenville, North Carolina, a collaborative effort is underway to highlight the importance of pet adoption, with a particular focus on two young felines named Flick and Finick. The local news station WITN has partnered with Saving Graces 4 Felines, a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare, to promote the adoption of these kittens and other cats in their care.
Flick and Finick are described as affectionate animals who are considered suitable for a variety of home environments. The partnership between WITN and Saving Graces 4 Felines aims to leverage media visibility to connect these kittens with potential adopters. The goal is to help them find permanent, loving homes, often referred to as ‘fur-ever’ homes.
Saving Graces 4 Felines works to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats and kittens in the Greenville area. Organizations like Saving Graces 4 Felines play a crucial role in animal welfare by providing shelter, medical care, and socialization for animals that may otherwise be homeless or at risk. Their efforts often depend on community support, volunteers, and successful adoption rates.
The promotion by WITN is intended to draw attention to the specific needs of Flick and Finick, as well as the broader mission of Saving Graces 4 Felines to find homes for all adoptable cats. Potential adopters are encouraged to learn more about the adoption process and the animals available through the organization. The success of such initiatives relies on public awareness and the willingness of individuals and families to open their homes to rescue animals.
Information regarding the specific needs or requirements for adopting Flick and Finick, or other cats from Saving Graces 4 Felines, is typically provided by the organization. The initiative underscores the ongoing need for responsible pet ownership and the positive impact of adopting rescue animals into new families.
